Class 108(1) A trailer for transporting a boat A, comprises a wheeled frame 1 having a horizontal member 1a and a U-shaped subframe 3, 4 provided with a keel support plate 5, and a forwardly projecting member B adjustably pivotable in a vertical plane about its rear end and the frame 1, the member B being provided with struts 12, 13 supporting the forward part of the boat and with a post 14 having a bow pad 15 and a member 16 for supporting a lowered mast. The frame 1 has sector shaped plates 6-fixed to it at either side which overlap plates 10 rigid with the member B. The member B and the plates 10 are pivoted by bolts 11 to the plates 6, and holes 7, 7a are provided in the plates for locking bolts to pass through so that B may be adjusted in a vertical position when required to engage a forwardly rising keel.
