860,543. Removable bodies. NORTHERN IRELAND TRAILERS Ltd. June 24, 1957 [June 22, 1956], No. 19436/56. Class 108(1). A removable body has a floor 14 reinforced by beams 10 and 16 which engage the longitudinal members 33 of the vehicle chassis on the outside and top respectively, a suitable wear plate 18 being interposed if required. Depending brackets 20 secured to the transverse body members 12 engage the chassis transverse members to prevent fore-and-aft movement. Brackets 24 secured to the chassis longitudinals carry pivotally mounted screws 22 provided with nuts 30 to engage brackets 28 attached to the body longitudinals 10 to prevent vertical movement.
