Abstract

The drawgear arrangement is designed particularly for caravans towed by cars. It has a plate carried on the vehicle chassis and to this is fixed a piece with a towing ball. The plate is below the rear of the car, outside the outer bumper face. The plate has a depression (made by vertical side shoulders). In this is fitted a plate solid with the rod carrying the ball. Tappings are provided in each plate and the rod for fixing bolts. The plate is lengthened on its upper edge by a U-section to top the support plate.
