984,774. Dispensing liquids under pressure. K. HINZ, [trading as HEIMSYPHON KARL HINZ]. Feb. 6, 1962, No. 4530/62. Heading F1R. In a dispenser for liquids or emulsions such as whipped cream, a cartridge containing high pressure gas is placed in a holder 5 fixed to the container 1 and the liquid is dispensed through an outlet channel (not shown) via a channel 9 when an outlet valve 11 is depressed. A resilient bail 14 has one leg 16 fixed to the cap 2 of the container 1 and the leg 16 has a hole 15 and the second leg 19 is slotted to receive the valve stem 11, the slot 20 in the leg 19 being fitted around a waisted portion and under a T-shaped head of the stem 11. The valve stem may be removed from the bail by rotating a knurled nut 12 until the T-shaped portion at the top, which has flattened sides, is able to pass through the slot 20.
