Abstract

1,104,214. Spray-producers. SHIRAIMATSU SHINYAKU KABUSHIKI KAISHA. 30 March, 1966 [6 July, 1965; 10 Sept., 1965], No. 14047/66. Heading B2F. An apparatus for producing a spray for medical use comprises a liquified-gas container 1 the outlet of which is controlled by a push button 2, an ampoule 10 mounted on a holder 7 supported by a ring 6 which is adapted to slide around the container 1 to adjust the position of the holder in accordance with the size of the ampoule 10, and a spray head 4 connected to the button 2 by a tube 3 and provided with a cap 8 which covers to the top of the ampoule. A riser tube 5 supplies the liquid from the ampoule 10 to the head 4 which is provided with an outlet 9. In the embodiment of Fig. 5 (not shown) the riser tube is forked and supplies a mixture of medicaments from two separate ampoules to the spray head.
