978,641. Tanks &c. WHESSOE Ltd. June 18, 1962 [May 8, 1961], No. 16607/61. Heading E1T. In a structure comprising a vessel 1 having an internal load 7 the load 7 is mounted on a ring 8 supported within the vessel by support members 9 whilst the vessel itself is supported in an elevated position by like support members 6. The support members 6, 9 are arranged in alignment as shown, are secured to the ring 8, vessel 1 and rigid foundation 4 by pivoted means, see Fig. 2 (not shown) and are collectively arranged on the surface of a cone having its apex at or near to the centre of gravity of the unit 1, 7.
