977,492. Loose-leaf binders. JAMES BURN & CO. Ltd. Dec. 2, 1963 [Dec. 17, 1962], No. 47619/62. Heading B6E. A loose-leaf ring binder is provided with a sheet supporting member 18 which is held captive on the rings and rests on the spring cover plate 16, so that it may rock thereon under the weight of the filed sheets as the latter are turned over. The member 18 has apertures 20 and slots 22 in its longitudinal edges for cooperation with the rings 12. Alternatively, slots 22 are provided in both longitudinal edges. The member 18 is rigid under normal conditions and is formed from metal or P.V.C. Specification 649,747 is referred to.
