Abstract

954,417. Loose-leaf binders. BENSONS TOOL WORKS Ltd. March 25, 1963 [April 7, 1962], No. 13484/62. Heading B6E. A loose-leaf binder comprising split rings 12 mounted on two opposed plates held in a housing 10 is characterized in that the housing is flattened at each end and has one or more holes 16 intermediate its length, whereby it is riveted to the spine of a cover, the or each hole 16 having a cupshaped eyelet 18 provided with a flange 19 t engage the rim of the hole and an aperture 2 in its base for the reception of a rivet, the bas of the eyelet being in the same plane as th flattened parts 13 of the housing. The or each hole 16 is set in a dish-shaped portion 17. The flattened parts 13 are apertured at 14 and lie in the same plane as the lower edges of the housing.
