[Also in Division E2] A metal box comprising upper and lower portions 2 and 3 is made by punching out peripheral portions of the two adjacent edges to which the hinge leaves 4 and 5 are to be attached so as to form tongues 1 which are used to fix the hinge to the box by passing them through the openings 8, 10 the hinge and binding them back on themselves (see Fig. 2, not shown).
