Abstract

1,266,438. Ring binder sheet lifters. L. R. BEYER. 8 Aug., 1969 [15 Aug., 1968], No. 39884/69. Heading B6E. A sheet lifter 10 for a loose-leaf binder 14 having a number of binder rings 12 which are hinged in a housing plate 20 comprises a pair of members 30, 30<1> articulated to each other by a connecting strip 29 and each formed by a flat body portion 26, 28 having an upwardly inclined portion 30c, the respective portions being reinforced by a pair of ribs 42, 43 whose inclined surfaces 45, 46 serve as sheet supports. The portions 26, 28 are provided between the ribs 42, 43 with elongate apertures 40, 40<1> through which are passed the arcuate shanks of the binder rings 12, which may be spaced at different pitches and of different diameters.
