Abstract

976,689. Feeding nested containers. EKCO CONTAINERS Inc. May 27, 1963, No. 21047/63. Heading B8S. The lowermost cups of two magazines 12 are discharged therefrom by respective suction nozzles 14V, the nozzles being carried as a unit by ram 14R of fluid cylinder 14C which raises the nozzles to a position to grip the cups and then lowers the nozzles to discharge the cups through two toothed rubber mats 36, 37. The suction of the nozzles is then released by the engagement of arm 21 of the nozzle unit with valve 20, which releases the lowered pair of cups to permit them to slide down shoot 13. The rubber mats 36, 37 are separated vertically by metal plate 34.
