A cable connector comprises a flexible deformable clamp 1 preferably of pressed steel sheet consisting of two side arms connected by an integral bridge B which surrounds a cable C1 and a nut 4 removably fixed between the side arms having a headless grub-screw 5 which bears on, and normally to, a curved central portion of a part-cylindrical gripping member 3, this member holding further cables C2, C3 of the same or differing diameters, against a further gripping member 2 which in turn grips the cable C1 against the clamp 1. A plurality of connectors may be connected in tandem, in which case one gripping member or the nut may be common to them all. In another embodiment one gripping member has two central grooves at right angles and the side arms each have a rectangular slot in order that two cables may be connected together either in line or at right angles to each other.
