Abstract

975,650. Securing sleeves on shafts. AGRIAWERKE G.m.b.H. Nov. 13, 1963 [Dec. 14, 1962], No. 44826/63. Heading F2U. An internally splined sleeve 2 is secured on a shaft 1 by a bolt 8 which passes through a tongue 6 formed by a U-shaped slot 5 in the sleeve and into or through the shaft 1. On tightening the bolt 8 the tongue is pressed into engagement with the shaft. Rotation of the bolt 8 is prevented by its head 11 engaging a slot 10 in a ring 9 which is welded to the sleeve. A nut 13 engages a flat 12 on the ring 9. Hoe-cutters may be attached to a ring 4 on the sleeve 2.
