Abstract

The screwing machine has a slip clutch whose torque can be controlled manually. Arranged between the screwing spindle (9) and the screw (7) to be tightened is a torque-measuring device which has a force-inducing flange (11), one or more elastomeric intermediate parts (12) permitting a rotary movement, and an output flange (13). A corresponding ring (14) between the flange (11) and the output flange (13) is provided with measuring marks (15) at its periphery in such a way that it indicates a relative rotary movement between the two flanges (11, 13) which occurs under torque. The torque of a screw to be released can also be established at the measuring device.
