Abstract

1,205,605. Nuts. BULTFABRIKS A.B. 20 Sept., 1967 [22 Sept., 1966], No. 42762/67. Heading F2H. A pierce nut adapted to be attached to a sheet member 18 comprises an axially extending nut body 10 and a square faced attachment member 14 extending axially from one end of said nut body and adapted to be secured to a sheet member, the attachment member having straight sides which are spaced inwardly from the outer peripheral surface of said nut body providing a radially extending surface 13 therebetween on the end of the nut body from which the attachment member extends. The attachment member may be provided with a circumferential groove 15 for engaging the edge of the sheet member. In another embodiment the surface 13 is also provided with a groove.
