In a. twin lens reflex camera two setting knobs are provided on the front of the camera with their rotational axes in a plane passing between the two objectives, one of the knobs being connected to the diaphragm and shutter speed setting mechanism of the taking objective while the other knob is coupled to the focusing lens mounts of the objectives. As shown in Fig. 2, the rear members of focusing lens mounts 9, 10 are secured to the front wall 1 of the body frame of a twin lens camera, the mount 9 for the taking objective being carried by the housing 11 of a between lens shutter which also includes an adjustable diaphragm. Two setting knobs, of which only the focusing knob 30 is shown, are carried by a housing 27 which is secured to the camera body and carries bayonet rings 28, 29 for accessories such as filters or supplementary lenses and may also carry the photo-cell of an exposure meter. The knob 30 has a tongue 31 which fits into a driver slot 22 on a shaft 21 of a pinion 20, Fig. 1, which meshes with a toothed segment 34 on a disc 15 having a sleeve 14 adjustably secured to the movable front member of the taking objective mount 9. A link 26 connects the disc 15 to a sleeve 23 adjustably secured to the movable front member of the viewfinding objective mount 10. A knob similar to knob 30 engages the driver slot 32 of shaft 33 for rotating a pinion 35 in mesh with teeth 19 on the shutter casing for adjusting in a fixed programme the shutter speed and diaphragm aperture.
