'In a water-tight housing for a photographic camera, a mount for one or two supplementary lenses or filters is supported within the housing on a pivot which is offset in relation to the centre of gravity of the mount, so that the latter is movable between two predetermined positions by tilting the housing. Fig. 3 shows a side view of a filter mount 18 carrying filters disposed one above the other and covering, in one position, the taking and viewfinding lenses of a reflex camera. The mount is pivoted on the pin 17 at a point on its right (looking from the front) and rests under its own weight against the stop 26. The pin 17 is carried by a bracket 9 which fits over the viewfinding lens of the camera. This bracket also carries the gears which connect the diaphragm and shutter speed setting knobs of the camera to external handles as described in Specification 783,500. One gear 20 in such a gear train has a recess 22 which in the position shown, accommodates a ball 24 which bears against a resilient arm 23. The arm 23 is fixed at one end and carries a stop 25 at its other end which in the position shown is clear of the filter mount 18 and so allows this mount to pivot in a clockwise direction (looking from the left) when the camera is tilted, until it again comes up against the stop 26, in which position the filters are removed from in front of the lenses. If, however, the gear 20 is moved, the ball 24 is forced from the recess 22 and moves the arm 23 to the left, thus inserting the stop 25 in the path of the mount. Thus the mount can be rotated by tilting the camera only when gear 20 is in the position shown, and this may correspond to the smallest diaphragm aperture setting or to the longest shutter speed setting ("T" or "B") depending on which mechanism is used. Two such mounts may be used, one controlled by each of the said camera adjusting knobs.
