A wall-mounted drying cabinet comprises a dished carrier frame forming a housing for a fan and heater, which frame is pivotable about a horizontal axis and has suspension means disposed therein carrying a series of articleengaging elements in the form of clamps or pegs, the axis of the frame being adjacent the upper edge of the frame when in the inoperative position. A drying cabinet comprises a fixing plate 1 secured to a wall for supporting a dished carrier frame 3 housing a fan and heating element (not shown), and hanger rods 22 which form a support for hooks on which common clamps or pegs 24 are suspended to hold the articles to be dried in any position. The frame 3 is pivotable about an axis 4 adjacent the upper edge of the frame, the front wall of the frame, which is directed downwardly in the non-operative position, having a handle and a push-button connected with means (not shown) for locking the frame in the operative, horizontal position. The frame has slots 14 for the passage of air to the fan, and a curtain 19 slidably mounted on a rail. The rods 22 may be replaced by a slotted metal sheet. Specification 964,789 is referred to.
