Class 52(5) [Also in Group XIII] A clothes airer attached to a wall by means of a bracket 2 comprises a hood 1 containing a fan 11 and a heater 4 and a horizontal rod 5 supporting clothes hangers 6 with handles 7. A curtain 8 attached to the hood forms a drying chamber 15. A perforated plate 9 attached to the foot of the curtain restricts the flow of air and can be used to hold the curtain inclined towards the wall when not in use. In a modification the front of the drying chamber is formed by a vertical roller curtain.
