[Also in Division B4] A pronged fastener for garment material comprises a staple 1 having prongs 2 and a back-plate 5 having apertures 4 through which the prongs are inserted and bent over by a clenching press (see Division B4). In the modification, shown in Fig. 9, the staple portion is provided with double prongs 133 and a hook tongue 130, the back-plate 135 being corrugated.
