966,234. Boreholes &c. BAKER OIL TOOL Inc. June 16, 1961, No. 21828/61. Heading E1F. In a casing centralizer the ends of the springs 12 pass inwardly through openings 21, 22 in the support rings 10, 11 and have T-shaped terminal portions 25 which co-operate with T-shaped slots 26 formed on the insides of the rings adjacent the openings. A ring comprises inner and outer parts 20, 17, each of the openings 21 formed in the part 17 being aligned with an opening 22 in the part 20, and the slots 26 being formed in the part 20. The centralizer may be transported as springs and support rings, these components being readily assembled at the point of use. When assembled the centralizer remains assembled under proper handling.
