Abstract

965,436. Agricultural implements. FRANK BONSER & CO. Ltd. April 12, 1962 [Dec. 25, 1960], No. 40516/60. Heading A1B. An agricultural machine is provided with means for importing and controlling drive to an implement connected to the machine comprising a hydraulic circuit having at least one hydraulic pump, a source of hydraulic fluid, a relief valve, a control valve and means for connecting the circuit to at least one hydraulic motor connected to the implement. As shown in Fig. 1 an implement 3 is directly driven by a hydraulic motor 14 connected by pipe lines 11, 13 to a hydraulic pump 8 controlled by a valve 9 operable by a hand lever 10. In a modification the pump is situated on the implement and is driven by the power shaft of the tractor. The implement may be indirectly driven by gearing from the hydraulic motor.
