Abstract

962,118. Convertible vehicles. H. S. SHORT. Dec. 27, 1961 [Dec. 29, 1960], No. 44685/60. Heading B7B. A stand 20 is pivoted to links or a frame 7 which is itself pivoted at 9 to a chassis 2, jacks 11 and 25 operated from a hand pump 27 serving to elevate the platform to the position shown where it is supported by links 26 which may have adjustable ground-engaging feet 30. The other end of the platform is supported by the ladder 35 pivoted at 34 to the chassis and by pins 50 passing through co-operating holes in the ladder and platform. The ladder overlies the platform when collapsed and rollers 36 on the platform engage the underside of the ladder to move it to the position shown.
