The end stile 31 of a suite of partially overlapping hinged leaves 2-5 of a folding sliding door 1, Fig. 1, is fitted with a door plate 71, Fig. 2, near the top and has a lug extending therefrom and an arm 99 mounted for pivotal movement in the lug about a vertical axis 22, Fig. 1, 2, and is secured to a roller assembly 13 movable along the track 17, the axis 22 being spaced laterally from the supporting track 17 during opening and closing of the door and is located forwardly of the stile 31 in such position that the movement of the stile during opening is located wholly rearwardly of the foremost part of the stile in its closed position. The arm 99, Fig. 5 is fixedly connected to the body 91 supporting a pair of rollers 93 which run in twin channels of the track 17 and the body has an arm 95 rigidly attached thereto and carries a roller 97 arranged to run in the channel 18, 20 between the twin channels. The roller assembly 21, Fig. 1 on the opposed end stile 33 is somewhat similar except that the axis of the arm secured to the body 91 and the arm 95 are in a straight line. The lower guide assembly comprises a plate 121, Fig. 8, carrying two rollers 123 running in the track 43, Fig. 2, and is secured to a plate 47 from which the arm 49 extends to be secured to a door plate and lug fitting 71. L-shaped draught-excluding sealing strip 10, Fig. 1 are mounted on the top and sides of the door frame and a draught stop 55 is provided integral with or secured to the guideway 41.
