A vehicle has a U-shaped frame 4 carried by pillars 3 which may be inclined and which can be retracted in guides 2 so that when the roof panel 5 is slid rearwardly and the extensions 8 together with the windows 6, 7 folded inwardly the panel 5 covers the rear seat. The windows 6 and 7 which may form a U-shaped unit may be pivotally attached to the body together with the side posts 3 which are then pivotally connected also to the roof frame 4.
