957,897. Weatherproofing roofs. FOILDEK ROOFINGS Ltd. May 2, 1962 [April 18, 1961], No. 13989/61. Heading E1V. A compressed straw board roof is weatherproofed by successive layers of a bituminous primer 1, a less dense bituminous mastic composition 8, an embossed mat felt 9 saturated with bitumen, a less dense bituminous mastic composition 2, a perforated aluminium or synthetic plastics foil 3 and alternately more and less dense bituminous mastic compositions 4, 5 and 6, which may be covered with stone granules 7. To weatherproof a concrete roof, the same successive layers are used, but omitting layers 8 and 9.
