924,987. Slate roofs. MAZISTA Ltd. Dec. 19, 1961 [Dec. 21, 1960], No. 45500/61. Class 20 (4). A slate or wooden tile roof is constructed of cross-battens, covered with strips of roofing felt, each of which, e.g. 7, extends across three battens 5a, 5b, 5c, being sandwiched at its lower end between a tile 8 extending from the middle batten to the lower batten and a tile 12 extending from the upper to the middle batten, adjacent strips being arranged to overlap for the distance between two adjacent battens. The tiles are contiguous across the roof, and overlapping downwards.
