1,021,364. Prefabricated buildings. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. Jan. 28, 1962, No. 46443/61. Heading E1A. In a building made up from prefabricated "room units" the roofing layer 78 of one unit is extended to overlap an adjacent unit. Adjacent units such as 4, 5 are bolted together with an extension 79 of each underlayer of plastic roofing sheet 77 being clamped in position as shown, the resultant V-shaped notch 94 being filled with waterproof material such as bitumen. The layer 77 is covered by the layer 78 which consists of a rubber- or bitumencoated material.
