Abstract

955,104. Windscreen washers. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. Aug. 4, 1961 [Sept. 8, 1960], No. 31033/60. Heading A4F. [Also in Division B2] A spray assembly for spraying windscreens comprises an apertured ball 5 held in a recess 3 in a hollow body 1, of resilient pliable material by a clip 8 positioned around the wall 4 of the hollow body 1. An integral sleeve 9 surrounding the hollow body 1 has its free end 10 arranged at an angle so that when the assembly is held in position in an aperture in a car bonnet by a shoulder 11 a jet is directed at the desired angle over the windscreen.
