Abstract

867,713. Nozzles. AIRTECH Ltd. Feb. 8, 1960 [Feb. 27, 1959], No. 6973/59. Class 69 (3). A cap 14, rotatably mounted on a tube 10, has a conical recess 16 which, at its wider end, partially overlaps two liquid outlet holes 13 and, at its smaller end, opens into a tranverse slot 17. With the cap turned into the position of Fig. 2 a spray will be emitted, but on turning the cap through 90 degrees a liquid jet will issue. The cap is sprung over projections 11; in a modification the cap is axially held on the tube by a backing nut which is screwed to the cap and has a shoulder abutting a shoulder on the tube. Specification 714,028 is referred to.
