954,585. Optical objectives. C. G. WYNNE. July 4, 1962 [July 28, 1961], No. 27554/61. Heading G2J. The objective is of the kind shown wherein the refractive index of each outer biconvex element exceeds that of the divergent element connected to it by at least 0.075 and, preferably by at least 0.090. The front divergent element is bi-concave while the rear one is a meniscus convex to the front. Preferably the sum of the two air spaces is less than 0.13 F. Optical data are given for two embodiments.
