Abstract

954,148. Clamps. VEREINIGTE OSTERREICHISCHE-EISEN-UND STAHLWERKE A.G. Oct. 10, 1962 [Oct. 17, 1961], No. 38626/62. Heading E2B. [Also in Division F4] A bracket 4 forming part of means for supporting a crucible or converter 1 in a ring 2 tiltably mounted on trunnions has a plate part 7 secured to the crucible shell and a flap part 8 hinged to the plate. The flap part 8 of the brackets 4 are of T-shape, Fig. 3, the head 16 of the T being drawn against the lower surface of the ring 2 by bolts 14 passing through lugs 15 formed on the plate part 7. The upper crucible supporting brackets 3, Fig. 1, may be of the usual L-shape.
