The flange 2 either slides in a groove in the blocks 8, which are secured in rail 1 by tongues 9 or, in Fig. 4, the blocks 8 are fixed to flanges 15 and provide bearings for rail 13. Rail 14 is fixed to the floor of a vehicle and slider 12 carries a seat.
