[Also in Division F2] A domestic mixer has a driving motor 106 held in rubber mountings 141, 143 in a casing 104, the driving shaft 178 being rigid with a spoked wheel 175 engaged by axial rubber-like projections secured to a disc 176 threaded to one end of a shaft 117 carrying an agitator 114. A closed ended detachable container 110 screws into a screw cap 109 which locates on insert 122 acting as a closure for the container and as a bearing for the agitator shaft. The insert 109 is a slide fit in the top of the mixer casing 104 and is located by rubber wedges 112. In a modification, Fig. 12, the container 300 has a detachable lid 302 and has four flutes 304 to assist in mixing.
