Abstract

946,127. Tamper proof closures. INREDECO Inc. Feb. 7, 1961 [Feb. 12, 1960], No. 4555/61. Heading B8T. A tamper proof closure comprises a hollow stopper 5 in a container opening 2, the stopper having a pouring spout 3; a hollow pouring cap 4 is placed on the hollow stopper and welded to it at 13, 14, the container opening having an internal hollow into which fits a shoulder 7. The integral loop 12 may, in a modification, be replaced by a further flange arrangement 13, 14. Fig. 4 shows a further modification, in which the integral loop 12 and the pair of lugs 13, 14 are replaced by a pair of flanges 17, in which a tear weakening 18 is included. The closures are preferably made of plastics.
