Abstract
945,723. Refrigerating. PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN N.V. May 26, 1961 [May 30, 1960], No. 19095/61. Heading F4H. A non-condensing system comprises two units, the first consisting of a compressor 10 with exhaust and inlet valves 11, 12 and the second having a cylinder 14 in which works a doubleacting piston 15, the space 23 beneath which receives gas through inlet valve 28 from the first unit and compresses it and the space 22 above which receives gas from the space 23 and acts as an expansion space. Gas flows from space 23 to space 22 via a non-return valve 29, a cooler 32, a controlled valve 26, a regenerator 24 and a finned assembly 25 dissipating useful cold. The inlet of compressor 10 receives gas from space 22 through controlled valve 27 and pipe 33. Exhaust pipe 30 of compressor 10 includes a cooler 31.
