An AND gate comprises cores CG1 to CG3 normally cycled without saturation by series connected windings W2 the magnetizing current in which is insufficient to cycle an output core OG, the core OG being cycled to produce an output in winding OW if and only if all the cores CG1 to CG3 are subjected to magnetization opposing that of windings W2 and produced by alternating inputs to the windings W1.
