Closure means for a bottle containing gas under pressure comprises an elastic gasket 3 within the mouth 2 of the bottle end a rigid member 5 which is inserted in the gasket, an air space being left between the bottom of the member 5 and the gasket 3. The member 5 may be designed for removal by a tool or by hand, Fig. 4 (not shown).
