Abstract

943,137. Baths. D. T. GRANGE. Oct. 19, 1962 [Oct. 30, 1961], No. 38793/61. Heading A4N. A head support 13, for facilitating getting into and out of a bath, is adjustably positionable along a rail 4 mounted on a wall over the side of the bath. The centre of the rail is welded to the end of a strut 5. Hook 14 can be tightened on rail 4 by means of a screw-threaded sleeve. An alternative form of hook is described. The cross piece 15 may be replaced by a padded disc. A sling may be secured to the support 13 to hold one of the bather's limbs in a raised position.
