[Also in Division G5] A name or indicator plate or a marker for use with maps or charts, comprises a base of soft pliable non-metallic material such as rubber or a thermoplastic synthetic resin incorporating a magnetized material, e.g. ferrous or ferric oxide, to permit temporary application to a ferrous structure. Indicating matter may be applied direct to the base material or to a coating or covering layer thereon which may be a plastic or metal. A marker may be in the form of an arrow. The magnetic material in powdered form is mixed with the base material in the process of moulding or forming the base.
