[Also in Group XXV] A screw-threaded magnetic ferrite or dust core 3 set in a predetermined position in a coil former 1 is locked by a longitudinal strip 4 of polyvinyl chloride or other elastomer formed on the core. The elastomer is applied in liquid form to give, after polymerizing under infra-red radiation, a solid strip of material.
