[Also in Divisions F1 and F2] In a pump-and-electric motor assembly wherein the pump cover 4 acts as an end shield for the motor, the motor shaft 14 is carried by and centralized in the pump shaft 3 which extends through the cover 4. The pump may constitute a gear or vane type pump and is coupled to the motor by a serrated coupling 15.
