938,749. Dispensing petrol. WAYNE TANK & PUMP CO. Ltd. Feb. 5, 1962 [Feb. 8, 1961], No. 4774/61. Class 116. [Also in Group XIX] The forecourt of a petrol-filling station is arranged with the pumps underground controlled by switches on the nozzles. The hoses are arranged in pairs on low units 1 while there is a combined volume, total cost, priceper-gallon and grade indicator for each unit 1 in a combined register 5 at a further point in the forecourt. The volume and total cost indicators are driven by step-by-step motors from relatively high-speed transmitter generators adjacent the underground pumps. Reference is made to Specifications 458,208, 938,747 and 938,748 in respect of details.
