Abstract

The quantity display system, esp. for fluid from metering, consists of three parallel display units (2, 3, 4) giving values for quantity, cost andprice, typically litres DM and DM/litre (6, 7, 8). The materials forming the display form a parallel set of decode sequences (0, 1, 2...9) with numerals on a tape which may be moved by a set of three rollers (one large, two small) with axes either in a vertical or a horizontal plane. Alternatively, five rollers may be used, one large, four small with the tape following a U-shaped path. In another embodiment, seven segment illuminated displays would be used.
