Abstract

938,679. Securing hubs to shafts. RONDO-WERKE G.m.b.H. Sept. 3, 1962 [Nov. 21, 1961], No. 33764/62. Class 80 (2). A hub 1 is secured to a shaft 8, for the transmission of alternating torque, by corrugated flat springs 3 inserted under stress between a flat 4 on the shaft and a slot 2 in the hub. A plurality of such devices may be used, the springs being forced home by a washer 7 and bolt 6. The inner sides 5 of the slots are offset to permit limited rotational movement under stress.
