Abstract
938,357. Picture &c. mounts. WALTER PHILLIPS (PERIVALE) Ltd. Aug. 28, 1962 [Aug. 11, 1961], No. 29067/61. Class 11. A mount for sheet material 11, e.g. a photograph, comprises a base lamina 2 having a narrow slot 3 (or 4) therethrough, a transparent flexible sheet 5 (or 6) threaded through the slot 3 to overlie a substantial area of the front of the base 2 at one side of the slot 3 and to overlie the rear of the base 2 at the opposite side of the slot 3, and pressure-adhesive tape 9 (or 10) overlapping that part 7 (or 8) of the sheet 5 which overlies the rear of the base 2 and which extends over at least the width of the slot 3. An album leaf, as shown, incorporating two such mounts on each side thereof includes a perforated 12 separating card 1 to which are glued the edges of the laminµ 2, 2a. The sheet material 11 is located beneath the transparent sheet 5 and is detachably adhered at its edge to the tape 9.
