Abstract
751,274. Albums; picture mounts. MILLER, R. April 20, 1954 [March 18, 1954], No. 11402/54. Class 11. An album leaf 21 comprises at least two sheets, each sheet being provided with a set of mounts 22 engageable with edge portions of a photographic print 23 and with a second set of mounts 24 is spaced in relation to the first set for engaging portions of a negative 26 adapted to be located behind the photographic print. The mounts may be constituted by slits, flaps, or independent mounts and the portion 25 of the sheet upon which the prints are mounted may be embossed. When the negatives are the same size as the prints, flaps may be provided intermediate the slit 22 (Fig. 6, not shown). The slits for mounting a negative may comprise four corner slits as shown, two longer slits (Fig. 7, not shown), or two longitudinal slits (Fig. 8, not shown). Alternatively a strap may be provided for holding the negative (Fig. 9, not shown). The album leaf is preferably made up from a blank of material folded upon itself to form three sheets 28, 29, 30 of which the sheets 28, 29 are provided with the mounting means while the sheet 30 is folded between the sheets 28, 29. The sheets 28, 29, 30 may alternatively be separate and secured together at their edges.
