Abstract

796,051. Ink-ribbon mechanism. ACCOUNT-TOKENS, Ltd. Sept. 29, 1955 [Aug. 24, 1954], No. 15838/57. Divided out of 796,050. Class 100(4) [Also in Group XV] which extends along at least two oppositely disposed edges and a strip 2a of paper or thin plastic material is provided to cover one or both sides of the sheet. The support 2 may be formed as a frame from a sheet of cardboard folded about a longitudinal medial fold line to provide two superposed portions between which the transfer sheet 1 is clamped. Each superposed portion is formed with a window opening 3 which are in registration with one another when the portions are folded and secured, and notches 4 are formed in the corners of the supports to enable the support to be detachably secured in an imprinting apparatus, e.g. as described in Specification 796,050. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 3, the supports 11 extend beyond the width of the transfer strip 10 for fixing in the imprinting apparatus.
