938,250. Transporting and fermenting dough. KOOPERATIVA FORBUNDET EKONOMISK FORENING. June 22, 1962, No. 24100/62. Class 28 (1). An apparatus for the transport and fermentation of dough comprises a continuously rotatable controllably-inclined drum 1, with a polished inner surface, into an inlet opening 2 of which dough is fed from a continuous mixer 4 and passes out of an outlet 6 into a dough divider. The drum 1 is rotated by rollers 8 driven by a variable-speed electric motor 17. The inclination of the drum 1, and hence the time taken for the dough to pass through, can be varied by raising or lowering a cable 23 to adjust the height of a suspension loop 22 that supports rollers 19.
