[Also in Group XXVI] A single pole electric motor driving a sliding blade rotary compressor has the axis of rotation of the armature and the compressor rotor offset in relation to the geometrical axis of the outer casing. In Figs. 2, 3, a single pole 7 electric motor has a rotary compressor with three non-radial sliding blades 12 on the same shaft as the motor armature. The motor shaft is offset from the centre of the cylindrical outer casing.
